In an effort to keep our clients and team members safe – and to do our part in “flattening the curve” – all Vantage offices in Ocean City and Delaware are temporarily.  During this time, we will have staff working remotely to assist our guests and property owners.  We are closely following this situation and relying heavily on the direction of state and local officials.  Our hope is that these measures will bring about a swift end to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) so that we can begin welcoming guests again soon.  For assistance, please call (800) 555-4099.

Government Closures in Ocean City & the Delaware Beaches

As you know, government authorities at every level are taking steps to stop the spread of COVID-19. This includes Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan, who has released a statement urging local citizens and out-of-town visitors to stay at home for the time being.  In addition, the beach and the Boardwalk have been closed until May 15, 2020. We are encouraging all guests to read Mayor Meehan’s statement and stay informed by regularly checking the Town of Ocean City’s website, which will be posting frequent updates.

Similarly, Governor Carney of Delaware has closed all beaches in the state and issued a closure of all non-essential businesses.  This is to stay in effect until May 15, 2020, or until the public health threat is eliminated.  Several area beach towns are opting to extend their beach closures farther out, including Bethany Beach, which will be keep its beach closed until June 1, 2020.  For a list of essential and non-essential businesses and to stay up-to-date on Delaware’s response to COVID-19, visit

Enhanced Protocols for Our Valued Guests

As we continue to learn more and react to the daily updates on the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the health of our guests, employees and communities must be our top priority. We are reaching out to let you know that we are vigilantly monitoring the news and developments and are implementing policy and enhanced protocols to ensure guest safety during your vacation stay.  Below are some steps we’re taking to ensure our units are clean and ready for your arrival.  For more details, visit our page about Cleaning Protocols.

  • We are reviewing and confirming our cleaning procedures with our cleaning vendors to ensure your vacation home meets the latest CDC guidelines.
  • Optional mid-week cleanings are available as an additional measure of safety and peace of mind (contact Reservations for more info).
  • Anyone entering your vacation home will be required to wear gloves.
  • We are aiding our cleaning vendors in procuring disinfectant cleaning supplies and have an ample supply of our own on hand.

In a effort to provide the best service to our guests at this time, Vantage is offering a second, more inclusive travel protection option that can be purchased through Rental Guardian called “Cancel for Any Reason.” This coverage provides 100% reimbursement of your reservation for covered reasons, and 60% reimbursement for non-covered reasons (valid on new reservations only – must be purchased within 14 days of booking and no less than 31 days prior to check-in).
